Tour description:

1 st day
We start the safari from Ylläs Äkäslompolo towards Sweden. After crossing the Muonio river we are in Sweden. The track is well maintained and the driving pace is quite fast.
We enjoy a picnic lunch beside open fire on the way. Overnight in a guest house in the village of Kangos in Sweden. Sauna and dinner
Driving distance approx. 120 km

2 nd day
Breakfast. We start the safari through the wilds towards the village of Vittangi were the lunch will be served. After lunch we head for Jukkasjärvi village and the world famous ICEHOTEL. On the way we can enjoy driving outside the normal track and on frozen rivers and lakes.
In the ICEHOTEL our host welcomes us and tells about the ICEHOTEL and it´s 
constructions. In the afternoon we drive up to the city of Kiruna, were we check into the hotel.
Sauna and Dinner. 
Driving distance approx. 150 km

3 rd day
Breakfast. During the day we will get acquainted with the industry the people are getting their income in the middle of the wilds of Köli Mountains. In the morning we will visit the Esrange Space Center 40 kms out from the town and after the lunch the Kiruna Iron mine just out from the Centre of Kiruna. Dinner. City sightseeing night tour. No snowmobile driving.

4 th day
Breakfast. We start the safari towards Vittangi were the lunch is served.
If the weather is good we`ll drive to a higher mountain to admire the scenery and to take pictures
We overnight again in Kangos. After the dinner , we spend an hour or two by ice-fishing. Sauna

5 th day
Breakfast. We start driving towards Finland and the village of Kurtakko , where we visit a lappish wine and cheep farm. There we can se how lappish berries and herbs are used in the production of lappish wines. We´ll be in Ylläs in the afternoon.

Optional: 1-3 days safari in the Swedish mountains 290 € /person/day
(The safari takes us over frozen rivers and lakes up in to the mountain towards the border of Norway. Depending for how many days we will be up in the mountains we visit a ski resort. 
In one of the secret mountain lakes we try to fish for the arctic char and if we are lucky we have a delicious meal served from under the ice.)

At the start of each snowmobile safari participants will be supplied with safety instructions and taught how to handle their machines. The loan of warm snowmobile clothing and helmets is included in the price.
