This safari to the source of the river flowing through Äkäslompolo is most enjoyable on a long spring day. We first travel about 40 kilometres by snowmobile across frozen marshes and along forest tracks before stopping for a snack at the Mill Café and continuing a few more kilometres to our lake. There we spend a couple of hours fishing for whitefish and perch.

On the way back we stop for coffee before returning to Äkäslompolo. Duration approx. 7 hours. Price 204 € per person, which includes the guidance, snowmobile for each participant, hire of the fishing tackle, snack and hot drink with buns. Minimum 4 persons.
