According
to one old saying, salmon is like gold: worth seeking even if you
never actually find any. One thing we can be sure of: we won’t find
any salmon – or gold – at Luosu, but we are almost certain to find
perch. We first drive a good 12 kilometres across the ice on
snowmobiles to a suitable spot for fishing, taking a break now and
then for a hot drink on the shore. Once our pans are full of nuggets
we spin back to Äkäslompolo.

88 € per person which includes the guidance, snowmobile for
two persons, hire of the fishing tackle, hot drink with buns.
