At the beginning we start to climb
steadily to the Kuertunturi, where we see the village of Äkäslompolo and the surrounding
fells from a new, bird’s-eye perspective. The journey continues down
through the forests and across little brown-trout streams to a lake,
where we brew ourselves coffee or tea in a tepee on the shore. The 40
kilometres journey is covered at speed by a different route.
Duration
approx. 3,5 hours. Price 102 € /person, which includes
the guidance, snowmobile for two persons, lot of information about the
tradition of Lapp
people and hot drink with buns. Snowmobile for 1 person 145 €. Minimum
4 persons.
