We recommend this trip for people with a taste for speed and magnificent scenery. Heading first for Ylläsjärvi village along a snowmobile route, we then climb a good four hundred metres from the Iso-Ylläs ski centre to the top of the fell in one exhilarating dash. Before continuing down to Äkäslompolo we stop for coffee in a log restaurant and to admire the view.

The 35 kilometres trip takes some 2,5 hours. Price 88 € / person including the service of a guide, snowmobile for two person and coffee with buns in the restaurant on the top of Ylläs. Snowmobile for one person 125 €. Minimum 4 persons.
