Lapland is known for its nature: weather worn rock covered 
fells, tree – covered hills gleaming in the horizon, wild water
passages,primal forests, reindeer herds grazing on the 
open fell slopes, salmons and trout in the rivers, the clean 
berries of the fell slopes.

During the Lapland tradition trips we acquaint our guests to
the nature and the tradition of Lapland inhabitants, how they 
have lived and traveled throughout the years, what have been 
their hobbies and beliefs. Getting acquainted with all this 
means also getting a chance to return back in time by 
participating in some old activities, not just listening to 
the trip guide.

Prices are valid 15.11.2008-30.4.2009. Children under 12 years will get 30 % discount.

The starting point for excursions is the office of  Snow Fun Safaris in Äkäslompolo, but when necessary customers can be picked up from any point in Äkäslompolo village for the same price. We reserve the right to change the itinerary of the excursions should the weather or safety of our customers so require.

The excursions described here are only examples of the options we offer.

All excursions can be adapted according to need.

The number of stars after the name of the tour indicates the level: one star means it is suitable for anyone, five that you need to be in fairly good physical condition in addition to having a rugged thirst for adventure.
