Over one and a half century old Lappish country house in Torassieppi,
Muonio, is one of the rare places that survived after the Second World War.
There we visit a museum of reindeer herding and farming. The house wife of
the farm, in sixth generation, will tell us about reindeer herding with
slides and articles. We also visit a reindeer corral and have a reindeer
safari of 3 kms. Lappish soup lunch will be served in a warm Lappish hut. On the way
back we will visit a reindeer meat shop.
Duration approx. 5 hours. Price 119 € / person which
includes guidance, transportation (about 50 km one way), programme at the
reindeer farm and Lappish soup.
