The
number of stars after the name of the tour indicates the level: one star
means it is suitable for anyone, five that you need to be in fairly good
physical condition in addition to having a rugged thirst for adventure.
At
the start of each snowmobile safari participants will be supplied with
safety instructions and taught how to handle their machines. The loan of
warm snowmobile clothing and helmets is included in the price.
Prices
are valid 15.11.2008-30.4.2009. On
the snowmobile safaris
children under 15 years will get 30 % discount when sharing the
snowmobile with an adult and on the other activities the age limit is 12
years.
Starting times put in brackets are valid 15.11.2008-15.2.2009.
Everyone is driving on his/hers own risk. If something happens to the snowmobiles and damages exceed 505 € the maximum amount paid by the customer will be that 505 €. The rest is paid by our insurance company. When you take part to the guided safari you will have a possibility to avoid the self risk by paying the special 7 euros "no risk" fee per person (only for week program safaris)..
The
starting point for excursions is the office of
Snow Fun Safaris in Äkäslompolo, (Äkäslompolo Safari Centre)
but when necessary customers can be picked up from any point in
Äkäslompolo village for the same price. Please make the reservation before 6 p.m. at the previous day.
We
reserve the right to change the itinerary of the excursions should the
weather or safety of our customers so require. The excursions described
here are only examples of the options we offer. All excursions can be
adapted according to need. V.A.T. is included.
