Ice fishing trip to Lake Luosujärvi  

Ice fishing, or as we say pilkki, is a popular hobby in Finland. This ice fishing trip heads 20 km from Äkäslompolo to a beautiful lake, Luosujärvi. After we have drilled hole in the ice and gotten fishing rods ready we try our luck in catching fish. During this trip you will also see how fishing with a net is done. We will enjoy soup lunch before heading back to Äkäslompolo.
