The Covid-19 situation does not prevent travelling within the borders of Finland, but everyone travelling to the north has to take it into account. We, on our part, are strictly following the corona-safety instructions to ensure the health and well-being of our customers and staff alike. We kindly ask you to do the same.
Please familiarise yourself with our safety instructions.
For vacationers arriving from outside of Finland we recommend to follow up on any changes on travel restrictions on our government’s website: https://valtioneuvosto.fi/en/information-on-coronavirus
Dear Customer,
we warmly welcome you to the Ylläs area.
Before travelling, please familiarise yourself with the travel safety instructions: https://tem.fi/en/guidelines-for-the-safe-reopening-of-domestic-tourism-in-finland
For your information, we are acting responsibly to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. We take care of good hand hygiene and try to minimise personal contacts at our office. We wish you do the same – During your stay we are here for you and you may contact us by phone and through e-mail. At a service encounter inside, you are supposed to use a face mask and we ask you to keep an appropriate distance between yourself and our staff.
During customer service interactions our staff will also be wearing face masks.
If you have any flu symptoms, we kindly ask you to avoid coming to the office. Also our staff is instructed to stay at home if they show any flu like symptoms.
We have intensified the cleaning at our office and hand sanitizer is available at the service desk.
For effective cleaning of the cabins we use the instructions given by the Finnish Institute of Health and Welfare (THL). In-between cleanings for longer stays are not carried out at all, the resources will be used for an even more thorough final cleaning. Possible maintenance work will be carried out when the cabin is empty and no guests are present.
If you fall ill during your vacation and the symptoms give reason to suspect Covid-19 infection, please proceed according to following instructions:
Contact the area health manager directly during office hours or the on duty nurse on weekends and public holidays. If your general health is weakened, call the emergency number 112.
Area health manager Ylläs 040 708 7625
Nurse on call duty 040 489 5090
On the phone you will receive instructions on how to take a test. The results will be ready within 1 hour. Even if the corona test results are negative, it is recommended to stay in the cabin until the symptoms are resolved.
Please inform our office about possible interruption of your holiday or if you suspect Covid-19 infection.
We kindly ask for your understanding in these exceptional times – these measures have been taken for the well-being of our customers as well as our staff.
We warmly welcome you and wish you a wonderful vacation!
